IPSCO Short Throw Shifter (STS) reduces the distance to engage gears and results in improved performance. Reducing the angle the shifter shaft stroke travel between gears. The STS changes the pivot point geometry of the shifter to reduce shift knob travel and achieve the same degree of movement in engagement.
The STS improves movement accuracy from gate to gate to prevent missed shifts. The result is a short, precise shift and looks and feels sportier.
Made out of 6061-T6 CNC machined billet aluminum, durable nylon pivot ball and stainless steel stem, with rubber boot. Springs included with this unit are designed for the performance minded driver. Direct bolt-in.
Add the Shift Lowering Kit to reduce the height of the shifter. Recommended height: 2" lowering for stock shift knobs (all years).
